3.5 yrs ago I bought a NEC 42" plasma with amp but without tuner and speaker to save money. The cost was about US$ 5200.
The problem with this is of course for some images it left residual traces..
The plasma TV is quite hot, though I am sure it consumes less electricity then the equivalent CRT tubes. Now I am thinking if I still keep this TV or just replace it with LCD. If I keep it, I can use it to watch investment news and to let my son to play game.
