RE: Powered sub hook up question

A. This assumes you have a real separate sub, apart from the ones in your 7004s:
1. Yes, leave the fronts set to LARGE in order to take advantage of the powered woofer in the 7004s.
2. How have you set the crossover to 60Hz? This must be done in the receiver with the subs' own crossovers either bypassed or turned as high as possible.

B. This assumes that the 2 subs you refer to are the ones in the 7004s:
1. Yes, leave the fronts set to LARGE in order to take advantage of the powered woofer in the 7004s.
2. Set the crossover for the rear SMALL speakers to 60Hz in the receiver.
3. Set the LFE/subwoofer in the receiver menu to NONE.
4. Use the regular speaker wires to the 7004s; have the 7004s "subs" connected internally to the regular inputs; use no separate SUB/LFE interconnects to the "subs."

A pox on speakers with so-called built-in subs!!
