Phil McClellan says he has no knowledge of it and what is described by Anthony Cortez is highly unlikely. In order to provide 5.1/7.1 analog audio, it would have to include CODECs for all the output formats possible. Even if it handled ONLY 5.1/7.1 LPCM, it would still have to include as many DAC channels, something new for Gefen.
I do see a product on their website which offers a TOSlink audio split-off from the HDMI but, heck, you can get that from the player already and it can't handle the HD CODECs.
