...but unless I'm mistaken most of the Expo is open to the general public for an admission fee. After all, even though it's a trade show for A/V manufacturers, retailers and the press, consumer interest is paramount.

I'll do more research and get back to you, but I'm sure others who've attended in the past will probably chime in about CEDIA from experience.
