And I'm not about to predict who they will pick. They've hinted at a decision based on relative standalone player sales this Holiday season but they have to be keeping an eye on software sales as well.

I don't expect a decision right away unless they want to try and kill HD DVD in time for the Holiday rush. If they do make a decision, I'm guessing it will be in Jan/Feb 08. HD DVD would be on instant life support if Warner's goes Blu-ray exclusive. OTOH, if they go HD DVD exclusive, Blu-ray would take a big hit, but Disney, Fox, and particularly Sony are firmly entrenched in the Blu-ray camp and the war continues.
