HDMI wall plates ... good idea?

I would need to pass and HDMI cable from the back of a box, into wall plate 1 ... then, from wall plate 1 to wall plate 2 (this run would be behind a partition) ... then from wall plate 2 directly to the TV, which would be mounted on the wall.

Are there any downsides, complications to this kind of set-up? The total length of the connection would be about 10 to 15 feet.

Any signal loss? RF issues? Anything that would compromise the picture?
