Speaking of the B&M big box stores and CC in particular (I have to admit I haven't visited BB) I go strolling in a couple of weeks ago seeking a couple of SACDs. My new Oppo will play them and I was curious to see how they sounded. I couldn't find any and when I asked -- no kidding -- there was not even one person on their sales floor who even knew what SACD was. I started to explain it to one dufus but realized it was a waste of breath. Geez.
Blu-ray and HD DVD may end up going the same route, but who knows?
