Need opinion on MIRAGE speakers

I am thinking of getting a pair of front speakers for my HT set up. What do you people think of the Mirage range.
I want to get a separate sub so I'm thinking of the new Mirage FRX 7 floorstanders or even the OM series -- OM10 or OM12.
I listen to music 60% of the time so I need speakers with good soundstage and imaging, as well as a tight and controlled bass. Mirage claims that their omnipolar design offers a wide dispersion and a spacious sound no matter where you are in the room.
Would it be worth splashing up to US$1.5K with something like the OM 10, or is the FRX 7 good enough?
Or should I look at Paradigm or something else which offers better value?
