Hi,
What you want from a home theater is quite different from what you want from a tubey stereo. It sounds like you need both. Just put the HT in a different room from your stereo. You see, the last thing you want when
a car drops a 1000 feet and goes WHAM!!! is for the sound to be golden, liquid. It needs to sound somewhat like reality. Lots of hi end speakers
have trouble with theater for the same reason.
