The PQ is comparable on both, and BD may have the edge in audio, but that's not high on my priority list for movies. I generally prefer HD DVD, mostly because I prefer their movie titles, but I also think that HD DVD is far more consumer friendly than BD. That and the fact that my A1 is more reliable than my 1200.
