Sale days of reckoning? HD-DVD player price dropping super sale smoke clears, and the results have been analyzed (the conclusion: half a million players sold! -WOW). Of course it remains to be seen which HD titles will be big sellers over the holidays and how sales will compare with popular titles also released or only released only on Blu-ray, but you can rest assured that these purchases will impact high definition format disc sales over time.
