I installed mine a few weeks ago. The improvements were immediate noticable in my case. I am curretnly upgrading my other components, so in a few weeks./months I will have a better idea of how the conditioner works with better quality stuff, but on my basic system it improved the clarity of dialogue across the board (DVD's & Cable). It seemed to reduce/eliminate much of the background hiss you hear with cable TV.
Also- the color on my set (which I have not properly calibrated with Avia yet) appeared truer, with blacker blacks.Also- it eliminated the buzzing sound that came from my tv previously (ground loop perhaps- I dunno).
For $120 I am hard pressed to question it's value to my system.
Perhaps if my stuff cost $4000 instead of $1500 I would think about using a better or more expensive brand or model.Dan G.
