I've been reading a lot about ps2 ....Just one small thing will make ps2 better than dvd players in the same price range ... it can do progressive.
In demos ps2 has done better than most dvd players costing a lot more. Thats because ps2 has a much more powerful engine than most dvd payers.
PS accounts for over 1/2 the money sony makes. mega buck dvd players are made in small numbers. So the economy of scale kicks in.
All for 250$.
