Perhaps you are missing my point

Here on Audio Asylum there is a FILM forum to discuss movies; there is a VIDEO forum to discuss video players and things like BluRay/HD-DVD. If BluRay or HD-DVD becomes the next hi-rez AUDIO format at some point, it may be appropriate to discuss it here, or there may be a need for another forum; I don't know.

At the moment, BluRay/HD-DVD players and the media are video-focused. To my way of thinking, since this is a forum focused specifically on Audio and an Audio-only format, video-oriented discussions aren't appropriate.

I have requested the moderators to review this thread and make a ruling on the issue. Hopefully we'll get some clarification or direction.
