entry level DVD player?

Does anyone have any opinions about a quality entry level DVD player? At this point I do not have a full HT system so it's just going to be plugged into my 32"SONY (no components or even S-video available) via composite. I'm thinking about the TOSHIBA SD-2109 or the PIONEER 525. Is there agreement about these players out there? any other models I should seriously consider?
