Two words for this sub:

MARKETING HYPE

I've listened to this box, and quite honestly wasn't very impressed. I also gathered some data from Wide Screen Review:

20hz - 90db
25hz - 102db
30hz - 106db
35hz - 108db
40hz - 108db

These numbers are for maximum output. As you can see, it isn't even flat down to 25hz. I went with the Velodyne HGS-18. If you are looking for a sub that can kick out loud and deep bass, this is the best box I've seen. It can easily overpower a room if not integrated properly, and IMO not the greatest sounding for the 60hz and above range. It works well if intended for movies only, with something smaller and quicker used for music. In my case, I'm getting a pair of Vandersteen 2Qw subs, as each one has (3) 8" subs and a very different crossover/sampling design, a VERY good design for music. These two types of systems together should prove to be quite potent.
