The end game will go this way:
People stop buying HD DVD, shops stop re-stocking shelf space with HD DVD, then Universal and Paramount have to go blu, and last Toshiba must go blu.
People acted fast, the main delay in this process is that shops and Warner, Universal and Paramount want to sell out their HD DVD stock at the highest possible prices, before they switch off HD DVD:-)
Toshiba cannot force people to buy HD DVD movies, not even by giving away players for free:-)
