I have 2 amplifiers (Proceed and BAT) with 12v trigger inputs. I need to switch the BAT on for 2-channel audio, but my Calypso preamp does not have 12v trigger output. My Anthem preamp, of course, can turn on both amps for HT duty (or program an input to just turn on the 2-channel for music).
Is there a recommended IR receiver with multiple (at least 2) 12v triggers? Otherwise, should I just program my remote to power on the Anthem for 2 channel audio and setup to trigger just the BAT...
Seems like the downside of the IR receiver would be added clutter and a little power consumed 24/7? Downside of the Anthem option would be more power consumed for the Anthem to sit on idle just to trigger for Calypso's 2-channel duties.
Any input and experience would be appreciated!
