The BOL XBR for '08 is XBR6. In the wings is XBR 7 and 8. The catch w/ the XBR6 line is that it's divided between the sizes of over/under 40", with over 40" having all the goodies.
The XBR series is, AFAIK, no longer TOL. There is the W and Z series to consider.
The problem with Sony is too much product. There's the alphabet series, and the XBR series. Within each series, features may vary on the screen size. They are just splattering the market with overkill of product, hoping that some models may sell well.
