Home Video Asylum

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

I know this is crazy but....

...does anybody make a converter box that allows you to take composite video output + analog audio outputs and combine it into a coaxial cable-in connection? Limited internet searches suggest that the answer is "No".

I have a spare laserdisc player with the outputs as described above + S-Video out. I have a fairly small, older CRT TV that only has coaxial and standard antenna inputs. The TV still works great and I got it for free so I figured it can't hurt to check if some sort of converter is available before throwing in the towel. The TV would be for casual viewing, obviously not Home Theater applications.

I'm just a believer in trying to wear things out before choosing to upgrade to newer technology when possible. Thus, it doesn't hurt to ask.
