I apologize as I rarely use this forum, but others (vintage, vinyl, etc.). I was approached and asked about Klipsch floorstanders and center with Sony AV 7.1 receiver, with some surrounds unnamed. Are these a good match? My friend seemed to have done some research, and knew that Bose is overpriced, even though to his ears, in the Bose store, "they sounded good."
And, how much should this individual spend on his remodel of the family room? I rarely watch movies, so don't know enough. I sent him to read soundandvision.com in the meantime. Are there resources you folks use?
