i just got samsung 46" lcd tv (series 7) and i'm planning to use its RCA audio out connected to my integrated amp. the source will be PS3 connected to the TV by HDMI cable.
the TV will act as DAC in this set up. just how good (or bad) will this set up be? i'm aware that ideally (from audiophile's point of view) the source needs to be connected directly to amplifier. while i'm eventually going to that route, the set up above will have to do for now.
thanks
