Most players with an HDMI output, because it does audio and video, will allow you to choose what the HDMI connection is used for: both -- audio and video will go through the HDMI connection, only audio -- video will be through the analog outputs and only video -- audio will be through the analog and/or optical/coax digital outputs.

Now, if you're asking if the player will output audio through the HDMI and analog connections at the same time, that's up to the manufacturer to implement (some do and some don't).
