I have a 4 month old Sony 32m4000 that overnight developed pixel-wide vertical lines in one area. Its under warranty so Sony offers to send some local service guy to fix it in my house (after ordering parts which could take uncertain time), or they offer to ship an "equivalent or better" refurb to replace my set.
Which is a better choice? The refurb is easier in a way, but is it risky?
