RE: Sony VCR died. Worth repairing?

Yeah, I would at least look into it. Sony service may have the parts to facilitate the repair. There are plenty of video repair guys (depending on where you live) to look it over. IMHO, the older players were made better, so I think the repair might make sense. Maybe, maybe not. The link will lead you to a Sony email support center.
