Hi Everyone, hope you can help me keep my head above the title wave of subwoofer choices for a home theatre application. Here are the particulars:
Budget: $1,000
Room size: Closed in rectangular shaped theatre room. Proportions are 20' x 40'.
Sound prefences: I like tight accurate and bass with a good low end punch. I also prefer sealed vs ported designs.
I'm considering the following powered subwoofers. Any practical listening knowledge and advice is highly welcomed.
Rhythmik Audio: D15 Signature Edition
HSU Research: VTF-3 MK3
Velodyne: Optimum-12
Epik: Dragon
Elemental Designs: A7s-450
