I have a Panny TH-50PHD and had a HDMI board go out about 3 years ago. I took the back panel off to check things out. I don't recall any fuses. I did go through all the major molex-like plugs and ribbon cables and treated them with Caig Deoxit and Walker Audio SST contact enhancer. I also went back through the Dish HD DVR Satelite and coax cable feed connections all the way back to the sat. dishes. It made a nice improvement to the p.q.
Next on my list is to experiment with upgraded power cords. I already have a Monster balanced power conditioner that all the HT gear plugs into. Another worthwhile investment.
If you haven't done so already, I highly recommend having your TV professionally calibrated. That will most likely provide the biggest visual improvement.
