RE: Dealer recommends 50 ft HDMI to replace 50 ft DVI cable (and DVI-HDMI adapter).

You may get lucky with the 50 ft cable DVI or HDMI, but there is a chance you'll need an HDMI amplifier to push 1080P down the line. Mono price carries those as well.

Th other option is an amplified HDMI cable, not cheap by a long shot though!
