HD component question

I am planning to send component video across the house via cable. The luminous signal will be on RG6 coax. This seems to work well as I am sending composite NTSC video and have sent the HD luminous signal on the coax with success. The audio at present is via RF. The plan is to send the left and right audio and the color differences on CAT5 cable using active baluns on the receiving end.
The question: Is DC coupling necessary or desirable? If not what is the low frequency cutoff required?

Thanks,

Phil
