What does a 'Smart TV' give you that a 'Smart Blu-Ray' doesn't.....?

I am not much of a Video guy, so sorry for the stupid question.

I see TV's that you can hook to the internet and also Blu-Ray Players. Do they provide the same features as far as the internet goes?
