I've posted about this before. The STB tuner market is a racket, far over-priced and very limited choices. If CE manufacturers can sell a 24" HDTV for $169, it's complete and total bullshit to expect someone to spend nearly that much for just a tuner. So if you spend a few more dollars, you get a complete fucking monitor with a built-in tuner?
Anyway, the link below will take you to a STB tuner that will take care of most of the non-scrambled/non-encrypted signals available that you can get -- cable SD analog, cable SD digital, cable HD, OTA digital and OTA HD. It also does some switching via the numerous inputs. There's an online coupon for $15 OFF which you can apply if you decide to order ($193 - $15 = $178 + shipping).
I have two of their digital-only models (PHD-205LE, $128 with the online coupon, but no NTSC capability) and get the NTSC signal tuning from a VCR or a DVD Recorder for my two monitors that need it.
