RE: inexpensive option

I believe my wife bought a remote from them about five years ago.

It really ticked me off. I had found her an inexpensive stereo for use in her classroom. It was an attractive unit to play CDs, and FM, with separate speakers. I think it was about $60. About a year later the remote disappeared. She came home and asked me what to do. I told her to keep looking for it and I'd check into a replacement, thinking to myself that I'd see if a $7 universal would work on the unit. In the mean time she went online and bought a new remote for about $25. Of course, later she found the original remote which was stuffed in a drawer with a bunch of junk....then a couple years later a substitute teacher broke the stereo!

You might check Goodwill if you want an original. Odds are against you, but our local Goodwill usually has a large pile of them.
