I picked one up from Amazon US for under $250. It's a downgrade for video performance -- darker picture (kind of like lowered volume for cables -- usually a bad sign) and less apparent detail. No significant change after break in. The sound is a bit better, but mostly a sideways move. I'm taking it out and putting back my generic power strip.I moddified a Monster 5100 for my main video system and it's great -- slightly better picture, much better sound.
TV used: Samsung UN40D6000 (great TV!)
Audiophile power cords w/ Highwire wraps on Apple TV and cable box. Wireworld HDMI cables. The Samsung doesn't have room to allow an adapter for a C7 cord. It's very tight -- perhaps the new Nordost Purple Flare C7 cord would fit. I also use diy line filters.3/18 UPDATE: I plugged my TV, apple TV and cable box into the generic outlet strip and the light and detail came back. The difference is small, but important. No mods yet, I still have an Onkyo amp I have to put back together.
