I am not up on what the latest and greatest in TV are these days. I know the picture quality is better on Plasma than LCD TVs. I have a friend looking to purchase a new TV from Sam's Club. I am guessing they will want something in the 45" to 55" range. Any suggestion on what to purchase. I think the budget is around $1,200 to $1,500. Any suggestions what to buy for the best quality. I know they should buy the extended warranty so you may want to factor that into the price. Thank you for your help!
