I have a blu ray which will NOT PLAY UNLESS IT IS CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

Dexter, Season 6, disc 2. If I put the disc in the player and there is not internet connection all I get is a blank screen.

If the internet is connected I get a menu for the 'bd portal' and some hot-spots for previews for other shows.

No internet. No go.
