I bought a BDP-60 specifically for it's wireless internet and 7.1 analog audio.
After ten months (of a 12 month warranty), the subwoofer went on strike. No way would the BDP output it. I called Peggy and they had e do a dabce and, ater two and a half hours, they had nme try the digital connection.
The subwoofer worked there. Peggy asked me if I could live with that.
I got am RA# ahd shipped it back.. Sizx weeks later I called asking where it was. A week later I got a refurb.
Again, the subwoofer didn't work. FWIW, It wasn't geting lost after it left the unit: It was not comig out of the unit.
Repeat process. This time, the refurbarrived in a week and a half. Along with the sub not workihng ere, the wi-fi dongle (i thik) didn'yt work.
Repeat process: Third refurb rrived and the sub again didn't work.
I gave up and settled for a different uit without analo audio.
No more Pannys for me.
I guess if they work right and never break, you're good to go but heaven forbid they ever need service, particularly under warranty.
