I moved my 60" Kuro nearly two months ago

Boxing in the original packaging was not an option. I simply placed a couple blankets on the floor of the Uhaul to absorb a little shock, then set the plasma standing upright just as it had on top of the shelf. I wedged it between the truck's wall and a sofa and stuffed pillows in the gaps between the wall and screen, and sofa and screen. It had some give, but was wedged in pretty well.

I was concerned about the plasma cracking the whole way to my new house. The roads here are very bumpy, with plenty of potholes and the Uhaul was very bouncy--I'm sure more in the back than in the cab. Thankfully, the plasma works perfectly as it did before and shows no sign of the move. So setting it vertically must be the key.
