Speakers are a pretty personal choice, no one can tell you what kind of "sound" you will like. For instance, I like the Monitor Audio RX6 for home theater (and audio) and they work well with a sub but if you like a more laid-back or warmer sounding speaker you might not like them. You may still be able to use the subs in the Polks with your subwoofer it just depends on how they blend and sound together. The polks may even sound better for audio by themselves without a sub. I would suggest that you read reviews and forum posts on some of the brands below to narrow your choice down and then try to listen to them before you make a decision.
