Blu Ray blacks out for a second or two or three, then resumes

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

I have Panasonic BMP DDT 220, worked well for over a year. Tonight, on regular dvd (not blu ray), it would just have a black screen, then continue.
What should I do or fix?
