We live in an age where quality isn't appreciated and quick fixes and cost-cutting is the way to go. That's why digital downloads killed high resolution audio formats. The same thing could happen to blu-ray in a few years. This Pioneer setback is yet another instance where cost is trumping quality in the digital age. I understand it, but I don't like it. Not one bit.
