I to have the NHT VT 1.2 and the 1.2A for a center. I am running the Denon 3300 and REALLY enjoy it. The 3300 has the 96/24 DAC and that helps also. I am running my DVD direct to the 3300 and it is great. You might look at ebay I've seen them in the $500-$600 range. I don't think that you will be let down.
