Considering purchase of a new monitor (in fact, the 40" Toshiba below). I am concerned about the vertical masking (black) bars of the 16:9 RPTV when viewing 4:3 television. The Mitsubishi catalog cautions against doing this more than 15% of the time on RPTV's at the risk of screen damage. Any thoughts or info on this? (Sorry if this has been discussed).
