TV stand (furniture) advice needed

I am looking for a TV stand for a 32" TV that can hold a center speaker right below it. I've seen several pieces in this "style" but the slot below the TV is made for a VCR and is usually too small.
Has anyone seen something with at least a 7.5" height space below the TV?
