The best 49" would be the Sony X900F, but finding a UHD TV with VGA is hard. You can get a vgo-hdmi adapter for under $20. Converting DVI to HDMI is simple and cheap. Visio TVs are pretty good. The main difference on the Sony is local dimming and the price.
