Just checked Costco. $1300 65 inch XLED.Close to your budget.

I just had a conversation with a coworker who just paid $4k for a Sony A1E Bravia.
His Plasma Pioneer just went south and got 9 yrs out of it.
Dont know how long my Panasonic plasma will last...Looks like some are dying...
