I'm not talking about made-for-streaming Netflix and competitors' films (with what seems often like strange compression games), but rather meant-for-theater releases where cinematography matters--- and as large a picture as possible rewards in an aesthetic sense.
(Disclaimer: if you watch a good bit of sports, that's perhaps reason enough to go big).
