You're comparing a US$2800 pre/pro vs. a $6000 pre/pro for starters so let's see how they stack up.

Variable Crossovers for all channels: Lexicon
Component Video Switching: B&K
External 5.1 Input for DVD-A/SACD: B&K
Ridiculous number of DSP effects you
probably won't use anyway: Lexicon

As you can see, the serious advantage points go to B&K.

If you really have the budget for the MC-1, other options worth
