Thanks for your input..... it's great having someone else to throw some ideas. When you said try switching the plugs around, and when that didn't have any effect I started switching around the inputs to the t and viola...I found my problem.... in addition to the normal cable input, my tv accepts 2 RCA inputs and one s-video. I had been using 1 RCA input for my satellite dish and the other for my vcr. RCA video 2 was producing the interference. Once I disconnected it, viola, interference gone. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use that video input on my tv, but that's ok since I run everything (except the new DVD) through a Channel Plus home distribution system.
