This receiver is awesome. I have listened to Marantz, Denon, Onkyo,etc..and this one blows the doors off in terms of musicality, and realism. It may not have the balls of the higher powered receivers in terms of wattage, but does have clarity and presense that should please you for quite sometime. I highly recommend this unit. No bells & whistles, just music
