Home Video Asylum

TVs, VCRs, DVD players, Home Theater systems and more.

I've not tried it but guess it would not be helpful

My limited experience has suggested video does not benefit from guru cords the way audio does. The power drain in a TV is fairly constant because of the consumption of the CRT tube and video interference due to electrical problems are usually pretty obvious. Ghosting is the worst picture killer for free to air and the cable pictures I've seen in the US are pretty ordinary so I really doubt that a power cord would make any difference to the picture resolution. The best pictures we get here are from digital satellite transmissions but I've never been tempted to worry about the power cord.
